Planetary Readings

  • Inner Planets

The three inner planets are said to show us our conscious thoughts. Mercury retrograde is a common meme in our lives and how that affects our communication, how does mercury affect your communication and thoughts when not in retrograde though? Venus the planet of beauty and love can help us to see what our love language is and how we show affection to others. Then we have mars. Many know this as the planet of war and anger but it is so much more. It can help us understand what motivates us and how we can best assert ourselves. Understanding where these planets are in our charts can help us better understand our inner thoughts.

  • Bridge Planets

While some planets affect our inner thoughts and others affect us societally, others are said to bridge that gap. We have two planets that help us transition from inner thoughts to societal expectations. Jupiter is where we find abundance and opportunity. It can show us how well we can recognize those opportunities around us and take advantage of them. Saturn is all about maturity and restriction. It helps us recognize while I want to go fishing I actually need to go to work so I can pay for those fishing trips! In what ways are you abundant? Have you been taking Saturn a little too seriously? The balance between these two planets is a tricky one but necessary.

  • Outer Planets

We have three planets that will not only affect us but they will affect an entire generation in a certain way because they stay in a sign for so long. Uranus the planet of rebellion and change, Neptune the planet of imagination, dreams, and escape, and Pluto that poor confused planet of transformation, power, and guilt. While these planets will affect an entire generation similarly they will also affect each person individually. Two people might have Uranus in a sign where they question everything and because of the placement one person starts to question social norms while the other is questioning our relationship to our possessions and what we find beautiful. Generational individuality.

  • As above, So below

Have a good idea what each planet represents and how they affect you but want a bit of a different view? Let us compare those planets the represent our subconscious thought (as above), and those that represent our conscious thought (so below). The sun represents how we consciously bring abundance in our lives and Jupiter shows how we perceive and respond to that. Which planet is dominate? Or are they fairly balanced? Mercury rules our thoughts and communication, Uranus challenges us to rethink those thoughts and questions them. Venus and Neptune, and Mars and Pluto pair off as well. Seeing which of these planets is happier in your chart can give you a new perspective on why you think the way you do.
